Computer lab at Chamarajanagar prison

On 15th November The support from Rotary Panchsheel Mysore and Infosys is commendable, as it demonstrates their dedication to social causes and their belief in the power of education and skill-building. This initiative not only benefits the inmates but also contributes to the overall development of the community by facilitating the successful reentry of former prisoners. The aim is to provide the younger inmates with basic computer skills that can help them in their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. This initiative is *historic* as it is the first of its kind in Karnataka. The idea for the computer lab was proposed by Smt. Shilpa Nag IAS Deputy Commissioner of Chamarajanagar and Rotary facilitated Infosys in sponsoring the computers and printers for the lab. The program was formally inaugurated by Hanur MLA Mr. Manjunath and attended by various dignitaries, including Smt. Shilpa Nag IAS Deputy Commissioner Chamarajanagar, Smt. Padmini Saho SP Chamarajanagar,
