International Beach Cleaning Day
Our Club took the initiative to clean the beach at Chitrapura , about 150 members of the society took part. A stretch of 1 km of the beach was cleaned. 25 Rotarians, 8 Anns and 7 Annetts and the locals, College students and members of Karavali Kalyana Vedike Took part . Rotary Club Baikampady arranged Breakfast to all the participants. A awareness talk about reduction in usage of plastics, waste segregation at the point of disposal and waste management were given to the participants. Mangalore City Corporation arranged to clear the collected waste.
