Celebrated world dog day and organized dog show
Date: On 26.8.2023, a "Dog Show Competition" was organized at Hunsuru, for the first time, by the Hunsuru Rotary Organization as part of the World Dog Day.
More than 40 dogs participated in this competition, including Grade Dane, Rat Veil, Labrador, German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Golden Retriever, Pamorian, Sitz and Pug, more than 14 different breeds of dogs participated in the competition.
The first prize was won by grade den dog named Leo, owned by Mallikarjun, the second prize went to German Shepherd dog named Kanwar owned by Chandan Gowda.
The third prize was won by a Grade Den dog owned by Rajasekhar.
Certificates and prizes were distributed to all the participating dogs by Preeti Vet Medical.
And dog lovers Kalsang Dorjee of Dolma Dog Rescue Center in Bylakuppe and Basavaraj of Saraswathipuram in Hunsur were honoured.Channabasappa, director of the animal husbandry department, was present as the judge.
