WORLD POPULATION DAY
Our First Project for the Rotary Year 2023-24 carried out on 11.07.2023 on the occasion of “World Population Day”. This Project is under District project ‘Arogyasiri’. Our Secretary Rtn Umesh Gatty with Rtn Dr Savtitha Gatty initiated this Project. Dr Savtitha Gatty, was the resource person and gave a talk on the topic “Family planning and Sterilization”. The students of Sri Devi College of Nursing also staged a skit on the subject. The programme saw a good number of participants with more than 60 women attended the programme. Our member Rtn Eknath and Sathyajith Rao attended. The programme was conducted in association with Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Primary Health Centre, Bondel and Gram Panchayath Moodshedde.
