Awareness program of national organ donor day at rotary hunsur
On 3.8.23, "indian Organ Donation" Day was celebrated by Hunsur Rotary Club. The school children were exposed to information on the structure of human body organs and the organs that can be donated alive and after death. Models of the structure of human organs were placed. Dr. Nagaraj, as a resource person, gave a lecture to the children about the importance of organ day and organ transplantation and organ donation.
Around 200 children including school teachers and Rotary members participated in this program. And after death we were all pledged to donate our organs to save many lives. In this program Rotary President Chennakesava, Secretary Prasanna and senior members Anand, Dr.
Sarojini Vikram and the headmistress of the rotary school Deepa along with the teaching staff were present.
