Jalasiri/Baggundi lake renovation initiative visit
Bagundi lake project is an environmental project .The lake is poluted by the wastes of the neighbouring industries.This has lead to loss of agricultural land and the impact on the fish flora and fauna is quite considerable.
The initiative to stop this contamination was taken up byRotary port town club.Mr Karkera senior Rotarian and past president of club wrote to PMO who responded favourably and an amount of 19.5 crores was sanctioned by MRPL for the project.

Mr. NAVEEN Kumar & Mr. NAVEEN Barke. We requested to follow up and implement the Bagundi lake renovation as soon as possible. Our DC will be shortly visiting for spot inspection to oversee the project and take necessary action .
